2024 CCNAPI ANNUAL CONVENTION 

The Critical Care Nurses are at the helm of experiencing first-hand effect of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4.0 IR) in healthcare industry. This evolution in nursing practice will slowly and continuously mold the future of critical care nursing as we enter the age of digitalization and artificial intelligence. This year’s hybrid annual convention will tackle the Assumptions, Borderless, Challenges, Disruptions, and Equities (ABCDE) brought upon by the 4IR and the current trends and issues in the field of critical care nursing. In addition, this 24- hour activity aims to provide up-to-date critical care standards and evidence-based practices that will enhance critical thinking skills as we embrace this technological advancement.

 
Specifically, the learning objectives of the program shall enable the participants to:

1.              Discuss the impact brought upon by the fourth industrial revolution in the healthcare industry, specifically in the field of critical care nursing.

2.              Explore various perspectives on the current trends and issues in the critical care units, both locally and internationally.

3.              Demonstrate enhancement of critical care nursing practice in adult, pediatric, and neonate population who are suffering from serious and life-threatening conditions.

4.              Explore best practices that further ensure the safety of the critically- ill while promoting family involvement in the care process.

5.              Present measures that can prevent and alleviate potential patient safety issues in the ICU.

6.              Discuss the future of critical care nursing workforce coming from the different nursing leaders’ perspectives and plans.

7.              Provide opportunity to understand the various global perspective of care.

8.              Interact with other nurses from around the world.

GUIDELINES IN REGISTRATION

Kindly read the Guidelines for Registration to the 2024 CCNAPI Annual Convention

  1. Individual Registration
  2. Individual participants may register for the CCNAPI Annual Convention 2023 through Google form after paying the registration fee which may be accessible at this link https://forms.gle/W1cJedsusi2EPP9B6
  3. The registered email shall be the only email to be used for the 3-day event
  4. To avail Membership Fee, an individual should be at least a 1-month CCNAPI Member prior to registration.
  5. Strictly No PROMISSORY LETTER will be accepted to avail of the Early Bird Face-to-Face Fee and will only be applicable to Regular Rate and Group Rate only. A promissory Letter signed by the immediate supervisor/ head with corresponding contact details will be honored and indicating when the payment shall be received by CCNAPI will be accepted. All promissory letters should be submitted on or before February 20, 2024.

  1. Group registration is applicable for a minimum of 5 or more people and can avail of the group registration discount.
  2. Group Registration is allowed until February 15, 2024, or until the quota is met.

  4. A promissory Letter signed by the immediate supervisor/ head with corresponding contact details will be honored and indicating when the payment shall be received by CCNAPI will be accepted. All promissory letters should be submitted on or before February 20, 2024.
  5. After completing the form, the point person shall send it to the organizing committee at [email protected] with the attached proof of payment/ promissory letter signed by the training officer/ hospital administrator/ chief nurse.
  6. Replacement of participants shall be communicated to the organizing team and will only be allowed 10 days prior to the start of the Critical Care Congress.
  7. One Official Receipt will be issued for this type of registration. No individual receipt will be entertained.

Face-to-Face Registration (Limited slots or until the quota is met)

  • Group of MINIMUM 5 PAX AND ABOVE: (Until February 15, 2024, OR until quota is met)
    • Php 5,800 per pax

Company-Sponsored

  1. Company-sponsored registration shall be communicated through a single point person only.
  2. A company-sponsored form will be given to the company which will be used by their representative to encode the details of the participants who they will sponsor.

FREE AND WAIVED MEMBERSHIP FOR FACE-TO-FACE REGISTRANTS

  • Only applicable for FACE-TO-FACE REGISTRANTS ONLY.
  • Free fee with waived membership requirements is redeemable until June 30, 2024 Beyond this date, the corresponding membership fee will be collected and complete documents are mandatory.
  • Membership is valid for 1 year upon application.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND:

    • Request for refund will not be given to those who will be canceling their registration, but considerations may be given on the following:
    • For cancellations made One (1) month prior to the convention date, Fifty Percent (50%) of the total registration fee shall be refunded.
    • For cancellations made Two (2) weeks prior to the convention, Seventy-Five Percent (75%) will be less form the total registration fee shall be refunded.

2024 CCNAPI Annual Convention

  • No Refund is given when cancellation is done One (1) week prior or on the day of the convention.

 

TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION:

  • In the event that the registered participant is unable to attend the convention, registration may be transferred at no additional charge.
  • The registered participants must send a letter to the organizing team with the details of the person who will attending on his/her behalf.
  • Transfer request must be made at least ONE WEEK prior to the convention.

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

  • A duly registered participant in the CCNAPI 2024 Convention may submit an abstract for review and acceptance for presentation.
  • The deadline for abstract submission will be on February 10, 2024 for review and acceptance.
  • The abstract may be submitted by email to [email protected] / [email protected] using the IMRAD form.
  • The abstract must be written in English and must be printed in the attached format (see attached Format Guidelines)
  • Abstracts will be reviewed for acceptance by the Scientific Committee based on the following criteria:

Relevance (Purpose): 25%

Significance (Implications): 25%

Applicability to Critical Nursing Practice: 25%

Clarity of Methodology: 25%

  • The abstract can be of single or group authorship.
  • Notice of acceptance for presentation will be sent out no later than February 15, 2024.

FORMAT GUIDELINES:

  • Abstract content shall be structured as follows: objective, significance, study, design, study population, method, result(s), and conclusion.
  • Table graphs, illustrations, or figures should not be included and will not be printed for inclusion in the hand-out materials.
  • Standard abbreviations may be used. Do not include historical descriptions or lengthy discussion in the abstract.
  • The number of words is 200 to 250 and must all be contained within the abstract frame of the format (excluding authors/ institutions)
  • The font shall be Times New Roman size 10pt
  • The left and right margins of the text should be 3mm.
  • The title must be in CAPITAL LETTERS in the upper field. It should not exceed three lines.
  • Author name(s), institutions and department must be typed in the large field within the area delimited by the lines.
  • Identify the name of the presenting author by underlining the name
  • Surnames are CAPITALIZED. Indicate the organization, city and country where the paper originated.
  • The body of the text should be typeset in upper and lower case, single spaced. Special symbols, such as fonts, italics, underlining, bold, etc. except for the text subheadings.
  • For international presenters, lectures will be pre-recorded for a maximum of 10-15 mins and recorded in mp4 format deadline of submission on Feb 20,2023.

For local presenters, it is mandatory to attend either the one-day convention (on the day you will be presenting your paper) or the full convention.

What is the minimum number of registrants in order to avail of the Group Registration? Group Registration will only be available for those who will register with 5 or more registrants. Please proceed to https://www.ccnapi.org/convention-events-2/ for more details.

Is Group Registration the same as Company-Sponsored Registration? No. Company-sponsored registration is for those participants whose registration is supported by convention sponsors.

In order to avail of the Group Registration, do the registrants need to come from the same institution? No. If you have 5 or more participants, you may avail the Group Registration. Please proceed to https://www.ccnapi.org/convention-events-2/ under the registration tab to know more

I am interested to attend; however, I cannot pay before the set deadline. Can I still proceed? Yes. We accept promissory letter which is applicable for group registration only. Kindly proceed to https://www.ccnapi.org/convention-events-2/ for further details on the application of promissory letter.  

Is the program approved with CPD Units? The program is applied for 24 CPD Units. The CPD Units will be given once the Nursing CPD Council released the FINAL APPROVED Units.

My request schedule/leave is not approved but I have already paid the registration fee, can I transfer my registration to my friend? Or refund my payment? Yes. Please proceed to https://www.ccnapi.org/convention-events-2/ under the registration tab to know more about the process of transfer of registration and request for refund.

After answering the registration link and uploading my proof of transaction, what should I do next? You will receive an initial notification of your registration. After verifying your registration, you will receive another email within 7 days containing the Zoom link. Please register using the Zoom link to be able to access the congress.

Can I enter the Zoom Meeting using another account? No. You may only register and enter the zoom meeting link with your official registered email account. Different email addresses will not be accepted by our system.

I am on duty, but I already paid the congress. Can I ask for a recording link of the congress? No. Recorded video will only be available to international delegates with a different time zone.
