NUTS & BOLTS IN NEWBORN RESUSCITATION

This is a four-hour program entitled “Nuts and Bolts in Newborn Resuscitation” aimed at providing advanced neonatal resuscitation knowledge that are essential in assisting during the delivery of newborns with anticipated or unanticipated complications immediately after birth. The program will focus on the science and highlighted best practice guidelines when resuscitating a newborn. Likewise, the program will provide information on the principles, concepts and indications for implementation of newborn resuscitation protocol.

The program will provide the opportunity for nurses to increase their competency level in advanced neonatal resuscitation by developing critical assessment skills and following an algorithm during neonatal resuscitation.
